Where healthcare, research and technology meet
Adventist Health Lodi Memorial
From forming strategic partnerships to enhancing patient care to harnessing cutting-edge technology, Lodi is home to one of the top healthcare systems in the state. With many renowned facilities and specialties, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial (AHLM) employs more than 1,100 employees.
While emergency services, surgery, maternity, and intensive care have always been key services of AHLM, the hospital has grown to operate five primary care medical practices, a free outreach clinic, and ten specialty services ranging from cardiology to pediatrics, and from endocrinology to orthopedic medicine.
Lodi-based, world-renowned surgeon, Dr. Stephen Howell, developed an FDA-approved kinematic alignment using 3D technology to map a patient’s healthy knee before arthritis develops, allowing them to receive an individualized implant.
Training surgeons around the world on this knee implant tool may be the first of many medical and technology collaborations transforming the way conditions are treated.
